La Loncherita in Lynnwood: $1.50 Tacos and a Warm Welcome

A roadside sign advertising $1.50 tacos was enough to get me to pull over. That is how I ended up at La Loncherita in Lynnwood, trying tacos, working through a hot-sauce flight, and meeting Jonathan, the 19-year-old owner.

I shared the visit on TikTok because it was the kind of local stop I wanted more people to know about. The tacos were a good deal, but the hospitality was what stayed with me. Jonathan made the experience feel welcoming, and I left wanting to support his business.

$1.50 tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Here is the detail to remember if the video made you hungry: La Loncherita’s $1.50 taco special is on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

At that price, four tacos come to $6 before tax, while six come to $9 before tax. That gives you room to try a few without turning lunch into a big expense. Drinks and extras will add to the total.

The special is separate from the regular prices shown on the online ordering menu. Check with the restaurant for the current offer and which tacos are included before ordering.

Come for the tacos, try the sauces

The hot-sauce flight was a fun part of my visit. Trying different sauces gave me another reason to slow down and enjoy the meal instead of treating it as a quick roadside stop.

What made me want to recommend La Loncherita was the whole experience: an affordable meal, a chance to try the sauces, and phenomenal service. I enjoyed being there, and I liked meeting the person behind the business.

They also have trompo al pastor on Fridays. Follow La Loncherita on Instagram for their updates, events, and specials before planning a visit.

This is north of Seattle in Lynnwood, so plan it as a stop when you are in the area rather than a downtown Seattle lunch spot.

I am a Seattle tour guide, and sharing the places I come across is part of how I help people get to know the area. Sometimes that means a famous viewpoint. Sometimes it means pulling over for a taco sign and finding a small business worth talking about.
